A total of 550 elementary
school students and one 10th grader displayed their
inventions at the 21st annual
Connecticut Invention Convention
held at the University of Connecticut’s Gampel Pavilion on May
1, 2004. Through the generosity of AI Architects, the CTGBC team
of Katie Faulkner and her son Hal, Mike Smalec and his son
Brandon, Susan Brandes and Ken Dreitlein selected and awarded
$100 Savings Bonds to 10 students whose inventions promote green
technology. The winners were:

Letters of congratulations for
the students will be sent to the student’s teachers and school
principals in addition to special certificates for the students.
