Approximately 600 students from grades K through 8 displayed
their creations at
The
Connecticut Invention Convention (CIC official web site) on
April 5, 2003. The event was held at the University of
Connecticut's Gampel Pavillion. Mike Smalec, Richard Rourke and
Ken Dreitlein manned the CTGBC display, answering questions
about our nascent organization and also selected ten (10)
inventions which exhibited the potential of contributing toward
a sustainable environment. Photographs of these very creative
inventions conceived by our state's talented students assisted
by their teachers and parents, are shown below. Our
congratulations to all these young inventors!
