The Southwestern CT Green Building Council (SCTGBC), a Branch of the CTGBC, was formed in 2010 to promote sustainability initiatives in the Fairfield/Westchester area. It is our goal to provide important information to building owners, developers and users who are interested in implementing "green" strategies, and for the public at large to gain a better understanding of sustainability issues and associated lifestyle choices.
The Southwestern Branch Leadership Group is composed of eight members who meet regularly, to plan and promote sustainability initiatives through forums, networking and other events open to interested professionals, municipalities, and the public.
